The Hollywood Monsters

A recent sight over Arixo skies, the Hollywood Monsters consist of a small group of thrill-seeking brats from Los Angeles. Quickly tiring of simple pursuits like surfing, mountain-climbing, or swimming with sharks, Francis "Boris" Paige and his pals decided to take to the skies and hunt air-pirates, modeling themselves after recent monsters in the cinema. Easily affording top-of-line Hughes Aircraft models, they set out into the Hollywood deserts in search of fun and adventure. They ran smack into a number of fighters from the Diamondbacks pirate gang. Two of their comrades were shot down immediately, and the rest were forced to retreat before being shot to pieces themselves. After the loss of their friends, and to save some face, the Monsters vowed to eridacate the Diamondback menace themselves, though other, larger, better trained Hollywood militias had failed thus far. When they found out that Arixo may have been the reason for the Diamondbacks being in Hollywood, they also vowed to take on anything with Arixo markings they happen to come across. The Monsters pose less of a menace than they would like to think, given their inexperience. They have become surprisingly driven, though, so eventually they may become a serious threat.
The Monsters paint their planes in a gray, white, and black scheme, mimicking the black-and-white look of film.
