Blackflag Liberator

A company like Blackflag will work for anyone, and that includes the various Unionist groups around the country. While most such groups are barely able to maintain the planes they have, some lucky few have wealthy backers. It is these latter ones who can afford to contract Blackflag for special, untraceable fighters. The Liberator is the most common of such aircraft.
Because of the nature of Blackflag's operations, not all Liberators are the same, but most follow a basic design. Deceptively clunky, these planes actually sport fairly well reinforced wings, and so can pull some pretty high G's. However, its aerodynamic quality is still iffy, and there are often problems at higher speeds. Many Liberators have exceptionally large fuel tanks, the better to spread Unionist chaos over a greater range.
The standard Liberator weapons loadout consists of a .30 cal and a .40 cal machine gun in the nose, with a .50 cal cannon mounted in each wing. Most have just four hardpoints for rockets, sacrificing one for more nose armor.
Liberators are found almost everywhere there is substantial Unionist activity, particularly around Columbia. A few have made there way into pirate hands.
