"Dodger"

One of the more noteworthy planes to have ever passed through Albuquerque, the "Dodger," as we've been calling it, is a remarkable feat of engineering. We believe the two we had a chance to study were prototypes, or at least early production models, but from where we're not sure. The pilots seemed a bit too nervous and well, scruffy, to be legitimately working for any company that would be able to produce these planes. There will likely be a news report soon about a pair of stolen experimental fighters.
The pilots were very reluctant to demonstrate the "Dodger's" capabilities, so some of the mechanics went out at night when they weren't looking to check the planes over. What they determined is that the "Dodger" is capable of pulling some truly mind-boggling G's, due mostly to its bi-flying wing design. By placing the rudders between the wings, it can handle extremely high stresses, as well as allow for some really tight maneuvering. The pusher engine turned out to be a remarkable Rolls-Royce Merlin 725, which, while only providing average speed, would surely allow the "Dodger" to pull even more amazing stunts. However, the tech heads think it would probably have some overall stalling problems, given the peculiar wing design.
With all these acrobatic abilities, somehow it wasn't surprising to find the armaments were rather lacking. The "Dodger" only mounts three .30 cals, all feeding from one ammo bin, and one .40-cal gun, although the designers did manage to fit in an extra two rocket hardpoints than this size plane usually has, for a total of six. Its armor protection seems about average for the weight class, around 600 lbs or so.
One thing that really got the mechanics excited, though, was that both "Dodger's" apparently had experimental ejector seats (the tech heads had never actually seen one before, so they weren't sure). If true, then it's more proof that this design came from some really powerful company. Best guess is Hughes Aviation, given some instrumentation similarities between the "Dodger" and the Devestator
