Baca Aviation Concern

The Baca family, headquartered on their 95,000 acre ranch located in the Jimez Mountains near Los Alamos, had managed to maintain quite an economic foothold on the immediate region during the Crash of '29 and later events. During this period of chaos, the family quietly annexed Los Alamos, claiming it officially as their property. Everyone else was busy fending for themselves, and the Bacas promised to protect the people of that rather small mountain town, so no one complained. Nothing had really come of it until recently, with the founding of the Baca Aviation Concern (BAC)  in 1936. It turned out the Baca family had been quietly building this small aircraft plant in Los Alamos since its annexation, hoping to break into a totally new market. The BAC specializes in the construction of autogyros, especially useful in the mountainous regions of northern Arixo. While they produce a few airtaxis and airbuses, their main focus are combat autogyros, a risky but so far profitable field. They sell to anyone, pirates and other miscreants included.
President Davis, concerned about the potential threat should any part of Arixo become too independently powerful, as well as their neutral selling policy, has tried to purchase the BAC on many occasions, but so far to no avail. With the recent creation of the Guerreros de la Familia Baca (Baca Family Warriors), Davis is more worried than ever that internal military action may become necessary.

BAC-i100, i200, i300, and i400 (Cricket, Grasshopper, Locust, Cicada): The most popular of BAC's designs, each of the i series uses the same chassis, with varying weapons and armor.

BAC a500 Azote: The second combat autogyro from BAC, sporting heavier armor and weaponry, though at the cost of speed.
