Profile: Arixo has acquired several Ravens; some as booty from raiding pirates or Texas, others from the second-hand market. Most of these units pass through the hangars of D.M.E. before moving on to the squadrons of the Arixan air force. As seems to ever be the case, D.M.E.'s engineers have taken the opportunity to "adjust" the units; in this case, improving the unit's anti-fighter capability.

Performance: The twin 0.50/quad 0.30 weapons array has been replaced with twin 0.60-cal. S-B "Crusader" cannon (where the 0.50s resided) and quad 0.30-cal. S-B "Zephyr" machine guns (in place of the 0.40s), and the large single ammo bin has been properly divided. This change has improved the Raven's close-in hitting power and reach. Use of fire-links inhibits firepower adjustment, though. The original's cargo space and centerline hardpoint have been deleted to provide extra nose armor, better protecting the elevators. The second seat has been deleted, as it serves no useful purpose. Price of this unit is lower than the original's, which is a plus.
