Profile: Arixo's paucity of aircraft has led to the practice of cannibalizing captured units and returning them to use. Spare parts are kept in stock by fabricating copies locally, when such cannot be otherwise acquired. In some cases, units are modified to suit a given need, or fix a flaw.
D.M.E., Arixo's resident miracle-workers, have done this with many "Outlander" designs. Their "Coyote-B", based on a Navajo Nation design, is one example.

Performance: The forward weapons array has been extensively lightened to allow the installation of proper aft-firing machine guns. Armor on the nose and engine have been bulked up a bit. D.M.E.'s engineers also replaced the landing-gear struts, which have always been a severe flaw with this unit. Price has increased, but Arixo can afford it (inasmuch as they didn't pay for the units in the first place!).
